Shirley Johnson is a former employee of the Internal
Revenue Service. She started with the IRS as a student
intern before joining them upon graduation on a fulltime
basis. During her twelve year career with the Internal
Revenue Service, Shirley held various positions as
is rare in having worked both in the Examination
Division (conducting audits) and the Collection Division
(collecting unpaid taxes). (Most former IRS employees
have worked in only one or the other Division, so
her combined experience better enables her to represent
clients regardless of the type of issue they face.)
In addition to those duties, Shirley was also a
classroom instructor as well as an on-the-job instructor
for tax auditors.
Shirley Johnson eventually left the Service and
became licensed by the Internal Revenue Service as
an Enrolled Agent in 1986. At that time she formed
her own accounting and tax practice in Maitland,
Florida. She is a member of the National Association
of Enrolled Agents, the Florida Society of Enrolled
Agents, and the National Association of Tax Practitioners.
She has taught classes for prospective enrolled agents
preparing for the special examination to become an
EA, as well as having taught continuing professional
educations classes for other Enrolled Agents.
Shirley has had extensive experience representing
clients before both the Internal Revenue Service
and the Florida Department of Revenue. Because of
her experience as a revenue agent she is familiar
with the internal workings of the IRS and is able
to apply that knowledge in resolving various problems
in an expeditious manner. Her years of experience,
both with IRS and as a practitioner, will help you
resolve your problem too. |
